Interested in learning to crochet for the first time, or wanting a refresher on your basic crochet skills?

Join us for a Beginner Crochet Class on Monday, August 25th at 6pm. Cost is $10 per person and you will receive a full skein of yarn, a crochet hook, a free crochet pattern, helpful handouts and instruction on how to get started with: slip knot, foundation chain, single crochet and double crochet stitches.

After learning the basic stitches, we’ll begin to work on a Lemon Peel Stitch washcloth/dischloth!

Space is limited, please sign up at the Connection Center to participate. If there is enough interest, we will make the class larger or hold a second class on a different date.

A Community Workshop will be held on Sunday, August 24th at 1:30pm (kitchen) so that we can learn how to make Elderberry Syrup! Cost to attend this class is $10 per person, and you should bring your own jar or bottle with you. Sign up at the Connection Center as space for this class is limited!

Students in grades 7-12 are invited to join us for our next Sardine Night on Friday, July 25th from 7-9pm! Sardines is a fun “hide and seek style” game that’s played in the dark, and you won’t want to miss it! We won’t be serving a meal at this event, but we will have some sardines available for those of you who’d like to eat a tiny fish.

Local attorney Brendon Rogers will be holding a meeting here at BCC on Thursday, July 24th at 6pm! Join us in the Fellowship Hall to learn more about end of life documents, wills, estate planning and more! There is no cost or registration needed to attend.

Join us for the Happy Campers Comedy Show! This event will be held on Friday, June 13th from 7-8pm in the BCC Fellowship Hall. A great lineup of 9 (mostly local) comedians will provide us with a fun and entertaining evening! Tickets cost $10 each, and proceeds will benefit BCC’s teens and children attending camps this summer.
